IN LOVING MEMORY

Making a donation to the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation to research or development is a special way of honouring the memory of a loved one who has passed away.

Families often choose a specific area of the hospital or research that they would like donations to be sent to in lieu of flowers.

If you are unsure if the family has nominated an area please contact the Foundation on (08) 8204 5216 or foundation@health.sa.gov.au and we can check for you. We will then notify the family of your donation.

Organising gifts in lieu of flowers

If you would like your friends and family to make a donation in lieu of flowers to honour the memory of a loved one, we suggest that you include the following wording in the funeral notice:

In lieu of flowers a donation in memory of <name of loved one> may be given to the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation
for <area of choice – research/development> , Flinders Drive Bedford Park SA 5042.

The Flinders Medical Centre Foundation has special In Memory donation envelopes and a collection box that can be made available at your loved ones funeral.

Your funeral director can organise this or you can call us directly on (08) 8204 5216 to make these arrangements.
