Each year many Flinders Medical Centre Foundation supporters decide to hold a special fundraising event or challenge to raise funds for a cause that is close to their heart.

Sue Howell Exhibition

26 November - 11 December 2011
Family and friends of the late Sue Howell are holding an exhibition of her paintings to raise funds for the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer.

Nine riders from Cancer Voices SA are riding from Melbourne's Federation Square to Adelaide's Victoria Square via the Great Ocean Road to raise funds for the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer.

Sean's Shave it for Cancer
December 2010
When Sean was diagnosed with testicular cancer at just 20 in August 2010, his friends showed their support by offering to wax different parts of their bodies - and “Shave it for Cancer” was born.

Claire's Coin the Cure

Claire organised the printing of a large pink ribbon and booked a table at Westfield Marion on Sunday 31st October 2010 to hold an event she named "Coin the Cure".

Rhiannon's Pretty in Pink Luncheon

Year 12 student Rhiannon raised $1911 for breast cancer research through holding a Pretty in Pink luncheon.

Butts on Bikes for Bubs

May 2010
Ten members from EFM Lonsdale bravely cycled from Melbourne to Adelaide in 11 days to raise $53,000 for the FMC Neonatal Unit.
