For the third year, National Pharmacies have chosen the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation as recipient of the funds raised through their annual BrasOFF for Breast Cancer Research campaign.
This wonderful partnership, together with Mix 102.3 and Channel 7 Adelaide, has raised more than $130,000 to date through the sale of special Ms Bea merchandise and donations from the general public who could drop off their old bras and a $2 (buck a cup) donation at their local National Pharmacies store.
2011 BrasOFF will continue to raise funds through the collection of bras at National Pharmacies stores, as well as through the sale of funky Ms Bea merchandise including bra wash bags, fridge magnets, pink pegs and BrasOFF drink coolers. These will be available throughout National Pharmacies stores from Monday 29th August.
On Friday 2nd September Mix 102.3 will be broadcasting live under the main canopy of Rundle Mall for the BrasOFF Fun Day where everyone will be welcome to come along and participate in fun activities for a gold coin donation.
