If you have ever dreamt of experiencing the thrill and excitement of the Tour de France – then this is your year. The Flinders Medical Centre Foundation has partnered with the McGuinness McDermott Foundation and Flight Centre to offer 40+ supporters the opportunity to take part the 2010 Tour de France Cancer Cycle Challenge from the 15-29 July. The tour will be guided by cycling great Ronan Pensec and will let participants get in to the thick of the action for 8 stages - starting in the Pyrenees and ending with the grand final on the Champs Elysees in Paris. For those who like to challenge themselves, parts of 6 of these stages can be cycled, however non-riders are also welcome to join. By fundraising and taking part you will support special care for kids with cancer at the WCH and vital cancer research in the LIVESTRONG™ Cancer Research Centre within the new Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer. To secure your place contact Will Maley at Flight Centre on (08) 8425 8600 or will.maley@flightcentre.com.au
